Terms of use
Last updated: 10 August 2026 · Australia (lite terms for private beta)
These terms apply to private beta use of CoverD. By creating an organiser account or using a payment link, you agree to them.
The service
CoverD is a payment request and tracking tool for community groups. Organisers create groups, add participants, and send payment reminders. Parents/guardians pay via a magic link (card via Stripe and/or PayID / bank transfer confirmation, depending on setup).
Beta status
CoverD is in private beta. Features may change, and there may be downtime or defects. Do not rely on CoverD as your only record of payments without your own backups if needed.
Accounts & invites
Organiser signup is invite-only. Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Payments
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe’s terms and fees apply to those charges.
- PayID / bank transfer flows rely on you (the organiser) confirming receipt. CoverD records your confirmation; it does not move bank funds itself.
- Platform fees (if configured) may apply as disclosed in the product / your invite materials.
SMS & email
Reminders are SMS-first to the mobile number you provide. Optional email may be used as a secondary channel when configured. Message/data rates may apply to recipients. You must only add numbers/emails you are authorised to contact about group payments.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse CoverD (spam, fraud, scraping, attempting to bypass security, or unlawful content). We may suspend access for abuse or risk to the service.
Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law and other applicable law, CoverD is provided “as is” during beta, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may update these terms for beta. Continued use after notice (or an updated date on this page) means you accept the revised terms.
Contact
Questions: contact the CoverD operator who invited you, or the channel provided with your invite.
